Step one for writing a book

Many of the clever peeps in my network spend time over the summer holidays writing a book. It's a great way to use the mental space afforded by the fact that most of humanity clicks into a different gear for a few weeks.

I don't consider myself an authority on writing books, but I am an author of two books of my own so I have a few ideas on how to make the process flow more smoothly.

In concert with my pals/family at Hambone Publishing, we're sharing a few videos over the next few weeks about how to write a book. If you're writing a book this summer, or you think you have a book in your future, you may find this useful.

In this first video, I recommend you get really clear on the purpose of your book, and give you three ways to think about what you're trying to achieve.

Keep creating,

Col.
