How to write a book

If you've got an idea to share with the world, you stand up and speak to bring it to life, and sit down and write to give it a legacy.

Recently I've given a lot of thought to the difficulty of writing books. I have no doubt there are thousands of great books sitting on hard drives around the world, left unfinished. Books which would be making a real difference if their writers could find a way to push the project through to the finish line.

Having written two books myself, and assisted more than 100 more to completion through my involvement in the Thought Leaders community and Hambone Publishing, I've learned that there are a couple of common traps that new authors fall into when they sit down to write their book.

I've spent the last few weeks recording a four-part video series about how to start and finish a book, and I think it'll help anyone who's planning to write a non-fiction book to create a better book, more quickly.

If there's a book in your future, check it out, and if you know anyone who you think might benefit from taking a look, please forward this email to them.
