Money and attention

If you’re going to run a successful business, you’re obviously going to need to make money. This is not a problem. Money is an abundant resource, and when you’ve got something of value to offer, people will buy it.

First, though, you’ll need to get their attention. Which is difficult, and getting harder.

Money’s plentiful, but attention is scarce.

Most solo pros never write a formal business plan, and if they did, they’d be forced to admit that their plan for getting attention leaves a lot to be desired. You don’t have to love marketing, and you don’t need to be a shameless self-promoter, but you do have to do something.

How do you get attention?

And, honestly, do you think what you’re doing is enough?

How confident are you it’s going to get you to where you’re planning to go?
